The more alike we are, the more we should be together, because it’s easier to understand each other’s nature; but the more alike we are, the more we shouldn’t, because in an awkward silence we both, at the very same moment, choose to tune the other out. The more different we are, the more we should be together, because our strengths complement each other into a perfect answer; but the more different we are, the more we shouldn’t, because we so rarely find the time to hold hands and happily listen to the same concert.

Looks — a failure. Makeup — hopeless. Skin dark, but sun-proof. Accent — odd. Thick legs, short on calcium. Can’t cook. If I ever get loved, it’s purely by accident.
